It copies your original DVD movie, including the menus and extra footage, to a blank disc in 3 easy steps. About the only features it lacks compared to our number 1 ranked product, DVD Cloner 4, is it doesn’t have the ability to copy to CDs and it will not let you copy episodic DVDs.

Some of Clone DVD’s key features is auto removal of all protections including CSS, RC, RCE, UOPs and Sony ARccOS. You can also make a DVD from VOB files on your hard drive, and the ability to copy all the menus, subtitles, bonus features, etc. to two discs, or just copy the main movie to a single disc.

This product is very easy to install and comes with a CSS decryptor.

There is compression of the original DVD with their newest version, so if you elect to copy your DVD to a smaller DVD 5 disc, you really can’t tell the difference between that and the original. All of the menus and bonus materials were also copied flawlessly.

Once we tried to play the copied DVD. It worked great until we reached the main menu, and then it wouldn’t let us press play for quite a while. After waiting longer than normal the copy finnally worked and everything ran smoothly after that.

When we attempted to copy a movie using CloneDVD everything ran perfectly.

Overall, Clone DVD is a good option for DVD Copying sofytware. This product has made some major improvments since their last version. You are now able to copy your DVD’s to a Dual Layer Disc, copy to smaller DVD5 or just remove all your menus and extras so there is minimal compression.
